Tokyo Time

200_rounded_ttFunky Japanese clocks for your iPhone

Tokyo Time brings several crazy Japanese clock faces right to your iPhone. The totally revamped version 2 of Tokyo Time now includes five different clock styles:

  • Shinshoku
  • Scramble
  • Binary
  • Digital
  • Analog

Shinshoku has a brushed metal surface with 30 LEDs that tell the time. 12 red LEDs count the hours. 3 blue LEDs count blocks of 15 minutes each. 14 green LEDs count one minute each and finally a yellow LED blinks every second.

Scramble works in a similar way to Shinshoku but uses a much more abstract design. Rectangles of different sizes represent units of time. You can choose from 9 different colors. Double tap the Scramble clock face to reveal a cheat sheet to help you read the time.

Binary is a classic clock style that uses colored rectangles to represent the digits of a digital clock. Double tap the clock face to reveal a cheat sheet that helps you read the time.

For those situations where you don’t need a cryptic timepiece, but just want an easy to read clock on your iPhone, the Digital and Analog styles are universally useful.
